A large tub opening allows for loading of large amounts of material to improve productivity.

The grinder features a 500-hp (373-kW) WEG® totally-enclosed, fan-cooled electric motor for the mill, a 60-hp (44.7-kW) motor for the hydraulic pump, and a 2-hp (1.5-kW) motor for the hydraulic cooling fan.

The Series III duplex drum offers proven cutting performance, and reversible hammers and tips nearly double the wear life of single-sided designs and simplify daily maintenance.

A reversing Flexxaire® cooling fan adjusts the pitch of the blades based on temperature, which can increase power and improve processing efficiency.

The patented Thrown Object Restraint System (TORS) reduces the amount and distance of thrown objects and has a smooth underside for better material flow.

The optional Damage Defense system reduces the likelihood of certain metal contaminants from entering the hammermill by reacting to the initial contact with the contaminant and reversing the feed system to allow removal of the contaminant.
